has come-up with a ""technology preview"" for their (Virtual Earth)
windows.live.local site that uses a split frame html browser window to
simultaneously display an interactive overview map (aerial photo) and a
360 degree street view.
It's missing the polish of a finished
app and only has coverage of small areas of Seattle and SanFrancicso

Initially I thought they had used a spherical video camera [url="http://"http://www.immersivemedia.com/"]like this[/url] but perhaps they are leaving that for Google to integrate...
It is interesting that their Live.local site is called beta, while they call this a ""technology preview.""

Interesting, but a bit clunky in getting it to work.
