saw a great one, I think in Nat'l Geographic, charting the dialect
regions in the USA if you're interested in that specific of a map. Must
have been within the past year, maybe someone has a link.

Someone was selling a poster-sized map at the AAG conference in NY years ago. Perhaps the org still has copies?
