"I am working with four DEMS I pulled from USGS.gov
When I work with the vertical exaggeration there are spaces between my DEMS.
Is there something in Scene I can do to solve the differences or do I need to work with something out of Arc Toolbox?

a general rule, please post screenshots as jpg, png or pdf. Those
formats can be opened by most browsers without any hassle. A screenshot
in a Word document means a browser has to download the document and
then open Word (or, in my case, OpenOffice) to display it.

The
obvious solution is to merge or mosaic your four DEMs into one DEM
first or to use the USGS seamless server to download a seamless NED DEM
of your AOI.
