"At
the non-profit I work for, we are currently testing our program in
North Carolina and Virginia. Our program manager would like a wall map
(per state) for reference, even though most of our tools are web-based,
including some map stuff.
We are looking for at least 16""x20"",
one state only, basically a road map, but any other standard, valuable
information would be welcome. Suggestions on which major map company we
should purchase from? "
Which map to purchase for state overview?

This
might be too simple, but if someone there is a AAA member, pick up the
North Carolina/South Carolina map (NC is 13 x 26 scale is near
1:1,000,000) and the Delaware-DC-Maryland -Virginia map (VA is on one
side alone 16 x 35 scale around 1:825,000). That ought to have no
effect on the budget for a non profit.
