Dear CartoTalkers,

I have been a NACIS member between 2007 and 2010. Due to personal reasons, I stayed off the map for five years, but now I am book to the map world. I am particularly interested in the relations between maps and society and search for alternative and creative ways to think, perceive, and represent space and place.

Best wishes from Ball State University, Indiana,

Jorn Seemann

Hello Jorn, and welcome back to the wonderful world of mapping ;) Will you be at NACIS this year?

Hi Hans, good to hear from you! I am still "mapping" some essential parts of my life and will not make it to this year's meeting. However, I look forward to being on board next year. Has NACIS already defined a place for the 2016 conference?

Best, Jorn
