I recently ran across the swisstopo (Switzerland's Federal Office of Topography) online map portal.  On top of all of the great functionality for delivering geodata, the basemaps are beautiful (of course they are).  But with them being served online like this, you can check out all of the great cartography at all scales across Switzerland.  Worth a few minutes of exploring... map.geo.admin.ch

Thanks for the link -- that's a great resource. There's a lot of data in the Geocatalog layers!

 

Another excellent website is the Swiss World Atlas (click on Run atlas towards the bottom of the page) from ETH Zurich. I really like the colors they use, the shaded relief, and their maps of economic activity.
