an AI generated psd in PS and the while the overall layer structure is
in place, layers that have lots of objects, such as type or symbols,
get grouped into PS layers in a seemingly random fashion. Although it's
not that random because it matches the stacking order in AI; but it
seems as AI is writing the psd and going down the stacking order, it
comes across an object (or set of objects) that all of a sudden
deserves its own layer in photoshop. How special. It'd be handy to have
each text object/symbol to have it's own layer in photoshop, rather
than say, graticule and river labels all flattened onto one layer.
Anyone know a work around or why this happens?
unflattened text/symbols between AI10 and PS7
