Hello cartographic enthusiasts,

There is new map on the way...

Half a year ago I got an order from big German publishing house to make panorama of British Isles.

The map is still in work. I expect it will be completed towards the end of summer.

At that time I will afford you the picture in better resolution :)

Best regards,

Bojan

It's nice but the North Arrow in the top right corner is a little bit fun :-)

"Sea" needs to be spelt consistantly:

Irish Sea NORTH SEE...

Agree about the North arrow, I'd drop it.

Lovely work though, and I like the heavenly mists under the title...

Dave

Awesome! I'd personally make the sea labels all the same color, it looks like you have some sort of transparency effect on them right now which looks a bit odd.

It looks really nice - very Berannesque!

It instantly reminded me of a Northern European poster of his I have hanging in my office.  I agree that the gradient on the ocean/sea labels is a little over-styled  - making them a solid light blue might work better.  Right now it look like half of the label is sticking out of the water.

Although I like the curved path the Outer Hebrides label is on, you might consider making all the Island labels a consistent style for easier identification.  For a moment, my mind assumed the label was for a body of water.

Hello,

Thak you for your feedback.

Panorama of British Isles is now completed . As you can see the map is considerably more elaborated then the first version I posted.

Today it is going to printing house in London. Map will go on sale in December, first through Amazon.uk.

Great stuff Gasparri. How big is the printed product going to be? (not that I have wall space unfortunately...)

Looks great - except that it looks like the sun is rising over the north pole. But the map itself is fantastic.
