Help, my confirmation email doesn't arrive!

I signed up years ago, under the name of my employer, a mistake i guess.

Now i'd like to register under my own name (and different email address). I tried, but the confirmation email never arrives. It's not in "junk". This problem has never happened to me for any other site.

Two questions:

  1. If i didn't already have an old account, how would i even contact you for this help?
  2. Is there a way to change my old login name? (An alternative solution to my problem.)

Hans - maybe an e-mail addy (info (at) cartotalk.com?) should be listed somewhere? I just checked, and maybe there should be a little 'about' page that describes what the forum is for, and the connection to NACIS?

 

Martin - it could be that you mistyped your e-mail address... ? I think we can change your login name, if needed.

 

Anyways, I found your new account (Martin F), and I set it to 'validated' now, so you should be able to login using the credentials for that!

I had the same problem -- never got a confirmation email. I tried twice and also checked junk mail -- not there. My only solution was contacting people here who were already registered and they gave me an email address of an admin.

 

This forum's email confirmation system is broken.

There is something wonky with the outgoing e-mails, we are looking into it right now. Sorry about the inconvenience, and thanks for alerting us!

Yes, please fix the outgoing email problem.

Also, please make it easier -- possible, even -- for "outsiders" to get admin help.
