CartoGrafia Magazine for iPad
Posted 07 December 2013 - 12:33 PM
Its a long time since my last post. I'll try to be more constant the coming year...
Today, i would like to announce my new ipad app magazine. Its only the first release.
At last the magazine is on the app store. Its a simple content for the first issue, but i hope to add more interesting things and articles in future ones.
You can see it at
I hope you like it, and its free. If anyone wants to contribute with some article, graphic, maps. Will be welcome

Expected more mapping related, but still find the content interesting from a cartographers perspective.
Actually, I like the concept of a single map and relevant stuff about the area.

Thank you Agnar
Yes, you are right, at this moment it does not have too much content. That's because I decided to put the app online with the proved technical part and some content I prepared. If I dont do so (make app available) I loose myself preparing more and more things for the future... and I would not publish ever... so... The decision was to make it "on the way".
For instance, I have just updated it with another issue, in which the same map is GPS enabled.
The idea is what you said, a map and everything around it. BUT a quality map...
So, I everyone here let me do so, I will be glad to announce the future issues and changes I will be publishing. Including news and more earth sciences information. I need to define the "pages & Spreads" as well as making the maps, etc....

Its a hard work for the last month. (I have to polish the mags, but at least its going... And free for everyone)
Next.. Publish a new free issue with a new map.
I hope you like it. Its hard to fit all in an iPhone screen.
