Hi!

I want to show you a 1:50000 relief map. It´s a draft. The analytic hillshade was retouched with photoshop. A little. But I think is more "realistic". It´s easier to see the ridges. Olive green is forest (beech mostly), light brown for mountain grass and apple green for cultivated grass. The thick pink line to the north east of the map is the border between France and Spain. This mountains  are the west side of Pyreness. The Atlantic ocean is forty kms nortwest.

Feedback are wellcome.

Looks very nice! Maybe reduce the shadows a little bit though, for legibility for the labels.

Relief looks nice, but could I persuade you to reexamine the typeface used for Kintoa Quinto Real?  Using the swash variant for every character is like having a cake made entirely of frosting.

Yes, the typeface, the size and font,  doesn´t match with the map. But Kintoa is a region (north slope of this piece of Pyrenees) that doesn´t match with the logical administrative and political divisions. The land is Spain but people, sheep little farmers, are french. The verdict for very old litigations about wood and pasture. Likely, I´ll change the typeface .

Also, shadows are very dark in some slopes. Next map, I´ll try to improve this one (time is needed)

Thanks for the feedback

Very nice.
As long as you have contours, you can lighten the shadows a little to provide better legibility for details, and labels.
Maybe also consider changing the green forest a bit more towards yellow; gives a better contrast to the blue streams.
