GeoAlberta is an annual conference where over 450 professionals gather to discuss & explore Geospatial Information. It is an joint effort event that is organized by the Alberta Geomatics Group (AGG), GeoEdmonton, Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) Alberta Chapter, and the URISA Alberta Chapter.

One thing remains constant amongst all Geomatics professionals and disciplines that measure it, map it, photograph and analyze it – The Earth.  This could be the reason that “Geo” meaning “The Earth” is the beginning of Geomatics.  GeoAlberta 2013 will focus on “Where Geo Matters” to showcase current technology, trends, and exchange commonalities within our industries and the planet we share.”
