Hi all, i am very new to this forum, but it really looks very useful.

So, i neew help on two things:

  1. Free license mapping software: Is there a software, a free one, that i can use to do mosaics, and orthomosaics?
  2. Online image processing cloud services: Is there any web site that can process your individual images into a georeferenced orthomosaic?

I am currently working on unmanned aerial vehicules to the mapping and geographics area, so i do know 2 web sites that can offer you image processing services, cloud based, and deliver true orthomosaics aqnd 3D DEM, DTM and DSM. But i want to extend my odds of cloud image processing?

Help appreciated...

Hello, Orfeo toolbox seems to fit the bill of your 1. It's a code library, but applications are available, especially a QuantumGIS plugin and a standalone app called Monteverdi : http://orfeo-toolbox...plications.html

Less modern and perhaps "user-friendly" (but somewhat partly accessible by QuantumGIS), you have also GRASS: http://grass.osgeo.o...age.mosaic.html

Another question, is it posible to make orthomosaics with arcgis?
