Hi all,

I'm new here and I have one question. I would like to use special pie chart for my map, where the angle is not important (in fact it is same for all pieces), but area or radius of the arc carries information. I found, that this type of pie chart is calling Coxcomb/polar/rose (in Czech it is known as comparative) chart (see http://blogs.sas.com...3/spending1.png or http://visual.ly/learn/coxcomb-chart), basicaly it is bar chart masked as pie chart*   :). Do you have any suggestions how to create this chart automaticaly or semiautomaticaly in gis (ArcGIS, QGIS) or in any other sotfware (for example Excel)? Sure, I should do it in Inkscape, Illustrator and so on, but it is not system solution :)
Thanks for help,
* for better understand. I have 3 attributes (absolut values, not percentage) in administrative units and I would like to compare this between units and between attributes. Simpliest solution is bar chart, but I would like to create something special :)
