(English not first language)

Hello. I use arcmap programs.  I want to make a 2d graph, like a croossection of the soil depth down to bedrock in a crosssection benith a railroad.  How do I go about to do this? What data do I need and how would I do it?

I have tried using DEM and soildepth raster in arcscene but I mostely use Arcmap so I dont really know what to do.  I used one of the raster at a base height for the other, is that the correkt way to go?

Thank y ou for help.

Daniel

Is it better somehow to use points with values. Like drilling sites with absolut data to bedrock and do some sort of interpolation?

Do you want to create profiles?

I have never done that myself, but google shows up several links that might be of interest...

I finnaly got "ok" graphs when using the tool "stack profile".   That way i could get the rastervalues from under a polyline and make graphs from that.
