Our little shop can no longer afford the GIS/IT guy, so my boss asked me to pick up the slack.  Our GIS guy left for greener pastures and now I'm trying to learn as much as I can.  Now that he is gone, I'm starting to appreciate all the work he did for us.  From a distance, it looked like a lot of fun, creating all those pretty maps, but now I realized each map required a lot of preparation and planning.  I'm here to be one of you.
