Hi all, my name is Álvaro, and I'm from Spain. I work for an IT company as a .NET programmer with some years of experience.

 

I've always been interested in cartography, maps and demographic data, and I feel that could be a good moment to introduce myself in these fields and, why not, maybe develop a career from my programming experience. I've been reading some blogs and forums about these topics, but I still feel like a newbie, so maybe some of you guys could give me some tips to just take my first steps.
