First, I need to thank you all for the enlightening discussions you do here in this forum - you all have helped this beginner A LOT on this steep-learning-curve called cartography. My name is Haziq, and I'm from a place called Klang in Malaysia. I've always been fascinated with maps - but have only dabbled in map-making until early this year..

I've been lurking around this forum for quite some time now, and might have read hundreds of posts here already - but this would be my first attempt to actually post one myself (since I need to start asking questions now :D )..

I'm looking forward to learn more from you guys, thanks!

p/s: Shout out if you're from Malaysia too! Would be nice to get together with more map-lovin' guys and gals over teh-tarik or kopi-o ;)

A while ago there were several semi-active members from Vietnam, and there are people from India popping up now and then.
