Hello,
I am currently a student at the University of Montana in Missoula, MT. I have gained quite a lot of interest in the cartography world from taking a class with a very enthusiastic professor. He gave the class some web sites and explained his work and how this forum helped him. I am a complete novice with this stuff but we have been getting familiar with ArcGIS. I have found it very interesting and will be working towards my GIS certificate.
cheers

Would that be Kevin MacManigal by any chance?

Why yes it is. He is a wonderful professor and has spent so much time with me and the class in our labs. One can see that he truly loves his work.
You know him I'm guessing?
cheers

Yes, I've met him at a few NACIS conferences, including the one in Missoula a few years ago.
