Hello guys,

Spatial distribution for vegetation [(mainly shrubs, (the non-fruiting vegetation)] via interpreting LANDSAT, Spot-5 to understand the human behaviors which forced by different factors

I’m here to ask mainly about two things:

1 Is there any extension for GIS which will give me advantages to interpret the available images?
2 Also, I heard about the USGS/land sat archive My Q is: when was the earlier image for land sat MSS?

Note: I already have land sat for 1994- 2003 and Spot 4 for 2003.
It now as course project for the remote sensing for my Master program in geography - maybe I can improve it and transfer it to be my thesis topic -
