Hi all,

I am unsure of the definition for Geodatabase and would like to make use of this opportunity to clarify my doubts.

Currently, I am working on an assignment that is relating to the Yellowstone national park study area.


Definition:
A geodatabase is a relational database that stores geographical features and attributes as objects and the relationship classes between objects. Geodatabase enables ArcGIS to represent real world entities as geographic data like points, lakes and polygons.

Is this the right definition?

It's *a* definition that seems to be covering it quite nicely.

Can you explain why you need this definition? If we know that, we can maybe give you a better, more suitable, answer.
