Good morning everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself as a new member, however I've bookmarked and have been reading the site for quite some time.

I currently work for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Watercraft as the Electronic Design Coordinator. In layman terms I'm the graphic designer and print publications specialist. Over the years my projects have taken to being more map productions about 70/30 to other publications. I've been working on producing 1-2 maps per year. I was the designer for the Ohio Scenic Rivers Map that Holly B had made a post about http://www.cartotalk...?showtopic=8208.

I can't tell you how many times I've turned to CartoTalk for ideas or general info about producing maps. Our team creates the data and then using ArcGIS, that date is then exported to me in illustrator layers and I finish up the layout for production. I hope to be able to intelligently contribute to the site and expand my working knowledge of cartography as well.
