What do you do with a printed map once it has served its initial purpose? Print can be easily transformed into other useful (and decorative) products. I like to make holiday decorations out of re-purposed maps.

Things I have done:
Assuming you have a good-sized stack of flat maps that were printed one-sided and you have access to equipmment such as large guillotine paper-cutters you can cut them down and make scratchpads out of them.
Or cut them down to notepaper, letter size or card size and use them for correspondence.
Use them for wrapping paper.

Some of the artwork is pretty cool and I like your decorations.

Full color, offset lithographic prints = 1)keep to use, because your never really done with good maps of this type, especially for their recreational or topographic detail. 2)keep as art, if flat never folder can make great office wall art, I like to stick to foam core. 3) gift wrapping.

Web map print outs = garbage (ok, recycling).
