hello,
can anybody help me to create a local coordinate system for a mine and how to setout these coordinates for a mine. I understand the dip and strike of the ore zone should be my north and south. but how do I set it out on the field if I have no backbearing.soo many questions.Your advice is need. thanks

Are you using ArcGIS?
If not, you can still look at the method used and apply it to other software.
