'Official' word is that Manifold version 7 will be released on May 15th (next Monday). From what I've gathered, Service Pack 1 for 6.5 has been pushed back and turned into 7. I'm very much looking forward to this one, can't wait to try out the Google Maps integration.
Manifold version 7 coming soon

The review mentions alot of database /back end improvements. Nothing about any new labelling improvements.
I am very excited about image libraries. Building image mosaics in Manifold was either tedious or required writing a script in the past, so this new functiionality may add alot of convenience.

It sounds like it will be a free upgrade for existing users too. I just hope they spent some time working on performance. I love Manifold but I often have to sit and wait for it when working on complex projects.

Labelling improvements is all that I'm looking for. I have no other problems or no other function that I'm missing in Manifold.

Got my copy this morning (download, the dvd's won't ship until the end of the month). Looks good so far, though I haven't had time to really dive into it.
It's a free download for people with a 6.5 license, but for $50 you can order a dvd with a load of extra goodies on it (that previously needed to be purchased separately)
