Hello everyone,
My name is Michael Sutherland and I am a freshman at Penn State majoring in Geography with a specialization in GIS.
I have loved maps ever since middle school and just before I left for college I drew a map of my hometown that is about five feet by six feet (which I hope to get online sometime in the near future) took me over three or so months to make.
I hope to start my own map making company sometime after college but I hope to learn a lot from this website about the world of cartography.
