I am doing a spatial join. The problem I am having is that when I join the features, it is not actually reading the numbers in the integer field. So if I have a field in the attribute tables where the values are short integers (5,4, etc.) I am only getting a field with values (0,0,0,0).
I've tried changing fields from 'string values' to 'short integers' and this doesnt work.

Have you recently downloaded service pack 4 for ArcGIS 10? If so, it could be related to a bug recently identified by ESRI. They just released a new patch that should correct for this error: http://resources.arc...amp;MetaID=1857
Hope this helps!
