I got interested in web fonts after looking up adobe's typekit.
Came across the free Google web font service. Took a few minutes and I implemented the "Quattrocento_Sans" font for my paragraph text on my site.
What is interesting about Google fonts Google web fonts
is you can dowload any of the available 500+ font family (ttf) to your system. Not sure on the copyright issues however.
Seeing these fonts are meant to read well on screen, and from what I saw I think a lot of Google web fonts would also work well with maps.
Cheers,
Google fonts
