Hey all,

Happy to have found this site. Am new to cartography (my education is in other things, including some GIS) but I've always been interested in maps and thus marking a career change by starting back to school on a cartography and GIS pathway.

I'm fascinated by how technology has grown in the field and look forward to seeing the creative ways you guys (and gals) have been applying it. I look forward to contributing here.
