finally got things working, just one more question

yea I know some points will be off but I figured out how to move them manually, my question is, how do I create a legend basically little colored boxes with names next to them so when I put it in a powerpoint presentation people can see what each color means.

Hi, you need to go into the layout view and work from there. Read up in the ArcGIS Desktop help, it should have everything you need.

Two things - if points are off, you might want to correct the coordinates, and last - little pie charts on maps are rarely the best tool to present and communicate information...

in layout mode - from the main toolbar ->insert->legend
