Cartographer

Taylor Young are one of the largest independent multidisciplinary practices, embracing town planning and urban design, regeneration, architecture, landscape architecture and graphic design. We have offices in south Manchester and Liverpool City Centre.

We are offering you an exciting opportunity to gain commercial GIS experience by assisting our Senior Cartographer and Planners, Urban Designers and Architects in producing maps, plans and illustrations in connection with our varied commissions at the forefront of the design agenda.

You will either:

have recently completed an undergraduate degree course; or
have a BTEC/HND in Geography/Mapping/GIS
and:

be familiar with a variety of media, such as GIS mapping packages, , Corel Draw, Illustrator and Photoshop;
be a good team player;
be able to demonstrate organisation ability;
have an eye for detail; and
be willing to develop your skills and gain an understanding of the work undertaken by the practice
