PostGIS is supported in FME Professional, and as far as I know Arc should be able to connect to that.

I always get this error in FME... after hours of reading the file.
Extra continuation character detected on line 623 of file C:\Users\spatial\AppData\Local\Temp\fme_Hp1164.fme -- it is illegal for a comment, directive, or blank line to follow a continued line
Program Terminating
Translation FAILED.
...any ideas? No matter the output format.
