I have a table with depth data (see attachment) that I wish to import to ArcGIS (as points or a raster, either way). The problem is that I only know the coordinates for on of the cells, which is the most southwestern cell. The coordinates for that cell is 59.425 N, 24.4 E. In other words; the spreadsheet does not contain any coordinates and the cells are aligned the same way as they would appear on a map.
A bit hard to explain, so please see the attachment. A value of zero (0) represents land, all other values are depth. The distance between each cell is 0.25 nautical miles, so it is possible to calculate the coordinates for the rest of the values from the one known coordinate.
So, any ideas on how to hammer the spreadsheet into shape? I have one idea, but it would take a considerable amount of time - so if you know any relatively fast ways, please share!
Thank you!
