Hello everybody.

My first post with a map.

This map will be for the tourists who are renting bicycle for a week, essentially to go to the beach.
This map is for free and is given by the people who rent the bikes or in the restaurants, hotels, campsites.....

Made with Illustrator.
40cm x 60cm
10 000 ex.

some remarks :
- the cover on the top left corner is not finished.
- the white pieces are places for advertising.

Your ads are colliding with some of your text labels, if you move the labels a little bit that can be easily fixed. Also, I don't like the fact that the top 2 ads in the right column are on land.

As a cyclist, I would like to know a little bit more about the landscape. Are there any dunes to climb? Where is the bike rental place?

In fact, i will move the ads or the text.
Every Bike rental will buy an ads. Every ads will have a number and every number will be place on the map.

For the landscape, I have to draw the dunes, it's a good idea. But, I have to learn how making shadows !

Maybe also evenly space your ads with each other. Use the DISTRIBUTE function for graphic objects. I like the graphics in your Legend and the map looks really nice as well. Too bad you need ads in it.

In fact I NEED ads ! But I'm not sure to sell all the places. After this, I will use the Distribute function.

Just a small comment. I notice that the cycle paths are not exactly parallell to the roads they run along side. It would look more titier if tidier if they were. There are several tools to help you with that. Most GIS and graphical softwar allows you to buffer line feature that you can follow for the cycle paths.

Otherwise, i lkie the map.

In fact I have to use more a parallel tool.
There's always something to learn in those graphicals applications...
