Hi!

I need to make some simple choropleth-maps of peoples republic of china and therefore I am looking for a free shape-file (or other vector-format e00, bna.. ) of chinas provinces.
does anyone know where to download such a file for free?

p.s the borders dont need to be very detailed, cause output will be on a din a4 paper size

Gorky, The GADM dataset is probably what you require - it will need some editing for your needs - but in a GIS this wont be a problem

Gorky, The GADM dataset is probably what you require - it will need some editing for your needs - but in a GIS this wont be a problem
