As we get ready for the US Army Geospatial PDF meeting in DC and the AAG conference in New York next week, we have prepared the following webpage as an example of how placemark/waypoint data can be shared and distributed using our PDF Maps app.

If you load up any map of Washington DC or New York City (Manhattan) in PDF Maps and then visit that webpage using Safari on your iOS device you can immediately load any of the listed data layers into the applicable map complete with all related symbology, photos, attributes and more.

Give it a try and think about how you can distribute your own placemark data layers to PDF Maps users around the world.

And of course, feel free to send us any placemark files in KMZ format and we will list them.

And finally, you can all expect that at some point we will be enabling a commercial exchange via the PDF Maps store so that folks who have detailed and valued commercial listings will be able to sell them.
