[MapDesigner]

Hi,

Recently I realized that I never draw a map of Lake Powell, where I worked back in my student years, in 2002, as a "dock hand", part of an international student exchange summer work program.
So, I started to look for available data of the region, and first thing first I wanted to create a DEM, by using specific colors of the relief for the region. It must be said that usually my DEM's are used in a gray color palette, without to much editing...so this was a pretty big fish for me to catch.
Anyways, see my current "progress" attached(print screen only - low quality), would like to hear your thoughts on it.
What I tried to achieve: to use the region's specific colors

and to end up with a mostly flat relief...
I'll keep you posted once I finish the map.
