Hey all.

I was asked to produce this map for a local Domino's Pizza. It shows their service area and zones within it. Final destination will be print at about 45 x 45 inches for the wall in their store. Delivery drivers will use it as a guide.

The client asked for a black and white map, but after giving him an initial draft, he asked me to outline each of the zones in red. Since the outlines are in red, I realize that it might as well be totally in color, but I'm just going with what he asked for.

I had to reduce the size quite a bit from the original so it doesn't show the best detail when you zoom in.

Any critiques would be much appreciated.

The gradient is distracting and imho not needed. Otherwise it fits the bill for a simple, B&W street map.
You could also place the road names on lines, instead of cased roads.

I've done a fair amount of pizza delivery maps, and a street index is usually a required feature.

I would not include the label "legend".

I would second the street index as well.
