I'm curious if anyone here has any experience with selling map graphics or images through some of the online image resellers (like sutterstock or depositphotos)?
Considering crating a small collection of simple map graphics to put online and want to know what the bester sellers are, or if its even worth the hassle.
Thanks,
Dave
Do you sell maps or graphics through ShutterStock or similar?

David,
Just a though (and I am not an expert on the sales end of things)
I would consider making them available freely on your own site (and collect data on the downloader). This way you can reach potential clients. OK not really a money maker. But considering the amount of map graphics and images available out on the web for free it might be a better return on investment (and easier to manage).

Not sure about Shutterstock, but I know that iStockphoto specifically says that they're not looking for maps and that they'll most likely get rejected.
