Hello Mapsters,
I am more of a GISer by trade but working on my carto skills. Making a set of trekking maps of southern patagonia. A mix of data, IGM (Military mapping inst.), Chilean forest service, my own trekking, etc.
I have done work with another group in other parts of Chile and have 3 published.
I have 4 published in preliminary form and on sale locally.
Still have not figured out how to make money off of this as nobody seems to be interested in nice maps here in Magallanes. Most of the published maps in this region are garbage or have huge amounts of errors. Mine still have errors so they are "preliminary". Visiting institutes and museums here, there are lots of old beautiful maps, not sure why the interest in nice maps has been lost.
I have a lot of mapping data of this region, almost no metadata. That doesn't exist here@! jajaja
Some of my maps are here:

You might get lost! They are still Preliminary. I have been hiking, I think with the Lantmäteriet maps up there. They are very good!
Are you still with UNDP?
