When I first registered for Cartotalk, it wasn't clear to me that I could enter my full name, so I chose a one-word pseudonym as my user name. My first question to other users is whether that's confusing, to have people who know me refer to "Dennis's post earlier today" when all they see is one from "chicarto."

Related to that, Nick mentioned to me at NACIS that I could go back and change my user name, but I haven't found a way to do that in My Controls.

Finally, I wonder if anyone's found a reliable way to jump to the last post in a multipage discussion, such as Guess that Location?

Dennis (and anybody else with the same dilemma),

Click on your name where it says: "Logged in as: ...", then click "edit member" and you can change your settings.

You can also bribe me or any of the other mods to change it for you

As for confusion, I'm not really bothered by it, but I do prefer to be able to call somebody by their real name. If you want to change your pseudonym, that's okay. If you want to stick with it, that's cool too.

I don't think "edit member" is something available to anyone other than moderators. At least I don't see it anywhere.

Dennis,

After meeting a bunch of board members at NACIS/SLC I did the same thing, b/c when we were out at dinner it was funny that we only new people by their screen names. Nick had to do this for me b/c I don't think we have the control, and fortunately it was a free upgrade
