The 2011 NACIS meeting in Madison saw what may have been a record number of maps in the gallery, and I'm starting this thread as a digital version of the display. If you had a map on display last week, post an image up here so that those who couldn't attend (or who simply were overwhelmed by all the talent on display) can have a look.

I'll start off by posting my own. I brought one of my river transit maps to the conference, specifically one of the Columbia River System (maybe I should have saved that for next year's meeting in Portland). A few images can be found here: http://somethingabou...columbia-river/

It's also how I knew the answer to the Geodweeb Geopardy question (or perhaps I should say I knew the question to the answer) about the John Day river. But I was too slow to buzz in.

Hi All,

I had a wonderful experience at NACIS and came back to Ohio University feeling inspired. Thank you for the support and critiques I received for the Perceptions of Athens map illustration. Here is a link to my blog with the piece (It's the first one on the "maps" page):

Additional feedback about that piece or other work is much appreciated.

Thanks,

I had a wonderful experience at NACIS this fall, and I look forward to Portland next year.

Here is my first ever(!) poster submission. It is a method of complimenting ortho images using map algebra, and curvature.
