Hi

I have ASTER GDEM 30m for the whole Ethiopia (Raw zipped data) I want to exract the DEM layer for Ethiopia. How can I do that ?

Any help?
Or any valuable link to do this?

You want to extract ASTER GDEM file from .zip ? I don't understand.
ASTER GDEM is a DEM.
What is your software ?

the same problem i have, i m using Arcmap 9.3, i need to extract elevation values from that ASTER GDEM data.

Have you tried extracting the data with either Microdem or 3Ddem?
