illustrator collect-for-output?

Freehand has a great feature called 'Collect for Output' where it finds all the linked images and fonts, and collects them in a new folder for press.

I don't see a similar cmd in Illy? Do we have to manually find those using the Links menu?

That's a PITA when you have upwards of 60 linked images in a file. I don't like to use the 'embed' image feature because of the overhead it creates in file size while we're working with it.

Manual is the way to go out of the box. I think that there are a few add-ons available at the Studio Exchange for the MAC platform that accomplish the collect for output functions.
