The company I work for is a merger of 4 or 5 utilities and we each use a different GIS system, ArcFM, Smallworld, MapInfo and Infomaster. the IT department is planning to consolidate to 1 GIS ( which does make sense), rumour has it that it will be Smallworld, but I haven't used Smallworld, only ArcFm and MapInfo. Does anyone use Smallworld and how does it compare with the Esri products and MapInfo?
