Our department is contemplating the purchase of MP in the very near future and I am wondering if the group has any resource book recomendations.
Thanks in advance,

Thanks very much!
Will do.
As there are a lot of MAPublisher users in this forum I am sure that some of them will offer their recommendations and responses but in the meantime you may wish to have a look at our documentation and tutorial guides which can be found here: http://www.avenza.com/documentation

It is a fantastic software as I had an opportunity to learn its basics with the trial version and many thanks to Hans for providing me the video tutorials. These tutorials are a must if you want a self learning crash course in MP. These are available at http://www.avenza.co...training-videos
I dream to purchase the software but it is hugely expensive. Anyway I found that if one becomes a Member of IMTAmaps.org, then they offer the software for $999, a saving of almost 30 percent. But again LabelPro is not available on discount. But even without LabelPro the software is a must, if you want to import GIS data into Illustrator.
Avenza, don't you have some discount scheme in the offing, so that freelance mapping professionals who do not have huge budgets could also buy MP and LabelPro.
