Can someone recommend settings for the Concatenate plug-in for Illustrator? I have the usual problem - lots of little segments that need to be joined. Also, should I be using the other Graffix options, such as Assimilate? Thanks.

I use the "connect paths" Illustrator plug-in from the Swiss Federal Institute of Cartography, available here:

How's your German?
Line segments must be selected, on the same layer, and have identical symbology. I would be interested in knowing what other people use for this task.

I use Concatenate and love it. Sometimes I use it in multiple iterations, with the gap starting at zero, to deal with gaps. It all depends on the dataset.
