Hi i made a map of rubbish crisis and about the dump of Chiaiano, north of Naples.

That is a whole lot of information for one map.

I have never seen a legend with text bodies in it. I think that kind of information would be better suited for the article (which I did not read but noticed there was a pdf link). I always try to make my thematic maps readable in 10 seconds or less. There was so much text that your legend had to carry over to the underside of the map.

I think that there is good information in your map. For me it was just too much to take in at once.

Thematic maps are in my opinion the hardest to produce.
I think that overall, this thematic map conveys adequately the message.

I have a few comments however.

- I really dislike the use of un-generalized 'GIS' database road network just for the sake of 'trowing in that information'. Maybe just the main road system would suffice here.
-Choice of colors is in my opinion mostly a subjective matter. I tend to use a color palette a go from there. Maybe you could re-visit a few color choices (e.g. the greens).
-You might want to had a few labels to the contaminated sites (so users don't need to check the legend). They are the most important element or your map.(anyway I think so).
