i have a map here that was given to me from an old friend and just wanted to post it up to get some answers that are still in my head about this map like the value and even if its real.... post whatever you want i will be waiting for you answers

What year is the map supposed to be from? How does the paper look?

This looks like a reprint of the Guillaume Delisle map of North America - Paris June 1718. It was one of the first maps to accurately depict the course of the Mississippi River and one of the first to show routes of various Spanish explorers. Reprints of this are pretty common and not valuable, but if you have an older one you might contact the Louisiana State Museum in New Orleans for more information.
