Congratulations Kevin-Paul! Very impressive set of maps and a clean, presentable website.
Have you considered publishing these maps in a sort of travel guide for the Kindle?

Hello Chris and thank you very much for your feedback.

…travel guide for mobile devices…good idea for the people that will be following-up on this project.
I’m hanging-up my cartography cap later this year and going back on the road.

Best wishes,
Kevin-Paul

...very encouraging news Gretchen, thank you very much for taking your time to spread a little gossip through the ’grapevine’

…just a quick reminder that the ‘Stavanger palette’ is still available to all at CartoTalk who may wish to utilize the CMYK in map projects: palette

Good luck and keep up the good work!

Best wishes,
Kevin-Paul

...I have room for eight more languages...would anybody like to make any suggestions?

Serious feedback appreciated…but anything funny is also very welcome!
...a laugh a day keeps the doom & gloom away.

Well, you could try "pirate talk". ;)

Maybe Italian?
Do you have any statistics on where visitors come from? Might give you an idea of which languages would be most useful.

...before I started with this lark I was travelling the globe as a marine engineer.
Back 'on the road’ indicates that I’m having a slight problem settling.
The ‘Pirate talk’ is certainly going to come in handy!

…thank you very much Gretchen for your tweet and for the news flash on your web site.
I’ve received emails from a couple of students that have read your blog and are interested in using the Stavanger palette for some of their projects!

…what a breath of fresh air it is when people show a desire to spend time developing their skills and go for authenticity.

Authentic creativity vs. karaoke culture
…we live in a karaoke world according to:
(Malcolm McLaren tells stories from his remarkable life, from failing school to managing the Sex Pistols, to suggest that we're living in a karaoke culture, with false promises of instant success) watch here

Your generosity has certainly humbled and at the same time impressed me, thank you very much.

Warm regards from the land of the midnight sun!

It’s always humbling to know that ones work is appreciate by travellers all over the globe.

I’m always here if anyone is interested in any other kind of background information for running this type of service.

Take care!
